Stimulate your child’s brain with a second language after school! There are so many cognitive benefits to learning a second language and early childhood is the best time to start. Our program offers native Spanish-speaking instructors, flexible schedules and parents may drop off their child in the afternoons or use our van pick up service.

We are excited to offer an afternoon opportunity for school-age children to learn or maintain their Spanish language skills in a positive and engaging environment. Each day features daily Spanish lesson, large group and small group games plus special activities like cooking, reading, art and science experiments. Snack is included each day as well as indoor & outdoor free play time and homework time (if requested by parents).

***We offer pick up from Murrayville Elementary and Blair Elementary (currently housing Wrightsville Beach students). Parents may also bring and drop off their children to participate in the program at our school located at 100 Spartan Road (near Blair).

About the Instructor:

Clara Arroyo is originally from Yaracuy, Venezuela. Her first interaction with children was at an early age with her nephews.

She graduated with a degree in accounting and came to the United States (Florida) in 2013 where she sometimes works as a babysitter for friends and family. She moved to Wilmington 9 months ago and began working with Wilmington Bilingual Preschool camp summer of 2019. Her bubbly and energetic personality makes her well-liked by all staff and students. She is very excited to share her language and culture and to be part of the children’s learning experience.

She loves to dance, listen to music, take photos, bake cookies, watch documentaries and learn new things. She also enjoys traveling and getting to know different places, cultures and food, as well as making new friends, going to museums, and spending time with her family, husband and her dog❤
