Stimulate your child’s brain with a second language this summer! There are so many cognitive benefits to learning a second language and our camps offer an opportunity for your child to have fun while being immersed in Spanish. We make learning Spanish a blast with a different theme each week plus daily activities include music & movement, centers, art, outside play, gardening, games, reading, water play & more.

Our exciting themes make each week a new adventure. Parents may choose from our on-site, half day program for younger students OR a longer day program for older students. Our school age campers will participate in field trips to expand their horizons and augment their Spanish vocabulary. All classes include a playlist so you can practice and sing along at home.

We offer two fun options for all ages:

Monthly On-Site, Half Day Camps for Ages 3-6 years
June, July, August 2023 at our Spartan Road Location starting May 29th, 2023
9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
*snack included daily, parents provide lunch

Tuesdays/Thursdays: $290/month
Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays: $310/month
Monday-Friday: $510/month

Weekly Full Day Adventure Camps for K-5th Grade
June, July, August 2023 at our College Road Location starting June 12th, 2023
Monday-Friday
8 a.m – 5:30 p.m. (students can be picked up as early as 3:15 p.m.)

*All field trips, meals and snacks are included, parents provide a water bottle & towel.

July 31st – Aug. 4th:  Rainforest Adventure (Aventura en la Selva Tropical)-
Climb away at the Kids’ Jungle at Jungle Rapids, see parrots, emus & other exotic animals at Skywatch Bird Rescue, Rainforest Scavenger Hunt at the Park

Aug. 7th – 11th: Dinosaur Dig (Excavación de los Dinosaurios)

See a giant sloth and learn about local prehistoric history at the Cape Fear Museum.

Meet air traffic controlers on a visit to the ILM airport & Air Traffic Tower. Learn about numbers in Spanish with daily Math games!
Use math during a bowling trip at Cardinal Lanes and to plan a shopping trip and visit to Los Portales Grocery Store. 

August 21st – 25th- TBD if we have camp, awaiting the calendar decision by the New Hanover County School Board

Full Day Weekly Rate: $300/week* Early Bird Rate is $275/week
8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

*To reserve a week, payment in full is due at the time of registration, invoice will be emailed.
*Special- Early bird rate of $275/week; register and pay $50/week deposit to hold a spot. Balance is due by April 1st , 2023 to reserve your camper’s weeks.

*All campers receive a t-shirt. For field trip campers, we will wash the shirt daily for them to wear on our outings.

Max group size for our camp is 13 students with 2 adults, our school age camp leader & van driver. We are a NC licensed childcare center and all staff have completed NC Division of Child Development childcare background checks, CPR/First Aid training and a clean driving record.

*Field trips take place in the morning. We start with fun morning activities in Spanish on campus, a snack, and then we depart for our daily adventure at 10:00  a.m. We return to the school by 3:15 p.m. most days. At the school students will have an afternoon snack, field trip reflection/circle time, arts & crafts and time for indoor & outdoor free play on our playground or in our full-sized gym!

Each week includes a trip to the Long Leaf Park splash pad to cool off in the sprinklers & to local parks for free play plus fun group activities like outdoor Spanish story time, group games & more!

Each Friday is “Fiesta Friday!” We practice our Spanish in a real-world setting by having lunch at a different Mexican or Latin restaurant each week. Then we watch a Spanish language movie when we return to the school in the afternoon. Lunch at the restaurant is included in the price of camp.

All staff is CPR/First Aid certified with NC Childcare background checks.
