2025 Weekly Full-Day Adventure Camps for K-5th Grade
June, July, August 2025 at 606 S. College Road, Wilmington, NC starting June 9th, 2025
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM ($300/week) or 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ($350/week for extended day)
Students must be at least 5 years old AND have completed Kindergarten to participate.
*All field trips, meals, and snacks are included. Parents provide a water bottle and towel.
Activities
We start with fun morning activities in Spanish on campus and a snack before we depart for our daily adventure at 10:00 AM.
Each week includes a trip to the Long Leaf Park splash pad to cool off in the sprinklers as well as other field trips to exciting and educational sites in New Hanover and the surrounding counties (see full details below). We also visit other local parks for free play and fun group activities like outdoor Spanish story time, group games, and more!
We return to the school for pick up at 3:00 p.m. Students who need a longer day can choose our extended day option to be picked up between 3:00-5:30 p.m. With extended day students receive an afternoon snack and afternoon free play.
All campers receive a t-shirt. We will wash the shirt daily for field trip campers for them to wear on outings. Shirts are given to each student on his/her last day.
Each Friday is “Fiesta Friday!” We practice our Spanish in a real-world setting by visiting a different park in New Hanover or the surrounding counties and enjoying lunch at a different Mexican or Latin restaurant each week.
Lunch at the restaurant is included in the price of camp.

• Visit the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Surf City

• Fly kites on the Southport waterfront
- See farm animals and enjoy a pony ride at Old MacFaye’s Farm
- Poplar Grove Farmer’s Market and barnyard visit
- See parrots, emus and other exotic animals at Skywatch Bird Rescue
• Launch rockets in the park

Monday: Pizza in the Park, Fresh Fruit, Veggies
Tuesday: Moe’s or Islands Fresh Mex
Wednesday: Picnic in the Park – Make Your Own Sandwich Bar, Fresh Fruit, Veggies
Thursday: Chick-Fil-A- Grilled or Fried Nuggets, Fruit Cup & Waffle Fries
Friday: Fiesta Friday! Enjoy an authentic meal and practice ordering in Spanish at a different Mexican or Latin-American restaurant each week.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL; WE CANNOT HONOR REFUND REQUESTS
Max group size for our camp is 13 students with two adults- our school age camp leader, and van driver.
We are a NC licensed childcare center and all staff have completed NC Division of Child Development childcare background checks, CPR/First Aid training, and have clean driving records.

Terms
Families should complete the pre-registration form on our website (blue button) and we will email you to confirm your child’s registration and send the invoice for payment.
Balances must be paid by March 31st, 2025 in order to guarantee your child’s spot.
No refunds; all payments are final. Date change requests are not guaranteed and based on availability..
